🌟 Self-Paced Online Courses 🌟 Open Enrollment 🌟Complete Any Time of Day or Night 🌟 Mobile Friendly 🌟

Course Description

Child sexual abuse is a deeply challenging but critical topic for early childhood educators to understand. Caregivers play a vital role in identifying signs of abuse, protecting children from harm, and fostering safe environments. This course provides essential knowledge to raise awareness of child sexual abuse in early childhood education settings. It defines key terms, including victims and perpetrators, and explores the different forms of abuse—both touching and non-touching. Participants will learn to recognize warning signs, understand the impact of abuse, and implement prevention strategies. The course also outlines steps to safeguard children, addresses the lasting effects of abuse, and presents evidence-based treatment approaches and intervention strategies.
