E-Learning Instructional Coordinator Kimberlee is a STARS trainer through Washington DCYF MERIT. Kimberlee has worked as a full time E-Learning Instructional Coordinator with Successful Solutions Training in Child Development since 2016. Initially starting as a student support position, Kimberlee's hard work and education has allowed her to become one of our two state-approved trainers! Kimberlee has a Master of Science Degree in Higher Education from Walden University. She also graduated from Eastern Washington University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Developmental Psychology and a minor in Psychology. Prior to joining our team, Kimberlee's experience includes working in a childcare center, both with and without disabilities, as an in-home traveling ABA Therapist, and a center-based Behavior Technician. Kimberlee's passion for working with children is due to the rewarding moments when she knows that she's made a difference in a child's life. "Receiving thanks and appreciation from families is one of the greatest feelings! I am so happy to be able to now teach teacher's how to work with diverse individuals and to help further the early childhood education field." Kimberlee firmly believes that every child should have access to an inclusive and supportive environment and it is our job as educators to provide that for them. Kimberlee's daily motivation comes from working with such an amazing group of people! "I honestly never could have dreamed of having such supportive, friendly, and strong individuals as my co-workers. Morale is so important at work, and I feel so lucky to have employers that understand this and make me feel appreciated. Plus, how many people can say they have delicious lunches prepared for them every day, or get to see cute babies and dogs at work?? I truly feel that the work we are doing is important! This, along with the combined efforts from our other trainer Brittney, keeps me feeling pretty darn motivated!"

The initial STARS training that is required to work in a child care program is the 30 hours Child Care Basics. That course can be done online, and is available for enrollment at the following link: https://www.cdastars.com/store/p156/Child_Care_Basics_30_Hours_STARS_Online.html
