Course Description
This course discusses training required for child care staff to administer medication to young children. It also addresses the methods of storing medications and how to dispose of unused or expired medications. This lesson also discusses methods of administering prescription and non-prescription drugs, as well as the treatment for chronic illness such as asthma, Type 1 Diabetes, and food allergies.

- After reading about medication recording, participant will be able to identify methods of recording the child’s medications through a multiple-choice quiz.
