Cognitive development is how children think, learn, problem-solve and further understand the world they live in. Due to Jean Piaget's research, we have been able to better understand that infants are not just passive beings and instead are constantly learning and changing in vast leaps. Toddlers are continuing to develop and build on this knowledge and it is the responsibility of educators to provide opportunities for this throughout the day. This course aims to provide an understanding of cognitive development and how teachers can support this crucial domain.
This is a 2 clock-hour course that is presented in English. The training method is online and self-paced, with instructor engagement. The training platform is mobile friendly, and most students will find that it works successfully on cell phones and tablets.

Learning Outcomes:
- After reading and watching a video about cognitive development, participant will be able to discuss developmental psychology and how it relates to cognitive development through a peer discussion board.
- After reading and watching a video about Jean Piaget, participant will be able to identify Jean Piaget's 4 stages of cognitive development through a multiple-choice quiz.
- After reading about cognitive development scenarios, participant will be able to analyze cognitive activities and classroom supports and how they would be beneficial to their own classroom through open-ended questions.

- You have access to online courses for 1 year from the date of payment.

Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellations and refunds requested within 72 hours after enrollment are available for courses/programs that have NOT been accessed.
- Refunds are not available after 72 hours from the date of payment.

- Once the student has logged in to the course, a refund is no longer available.
- Refunds and cancellations WILL be charged a 20% cancellation fee.
- After 72 hours from the time of purchase, the payment credit can be transferred to a different training or to a new student, if the training was not started by the original student, for up to 30 days after enrollment.
