Model positive behaviors for the children. Remember they are little and mistakes happen. Also leave your personal life at the door.

A few ways to keep a positive attitude in the classroom is to keep it lighthearted and fun. Not to take yourself too seriously and to be able to laugh at yourself, be silly. Play music and stay away from negativity if it is brewing in your school. Know when you need a break and don't be afraid to ask for it. Most times a couple deep quiet breaths can restore positivity.

Keep a gratitude journal! Remind yourself of why you love teaching. Focus on the positive things you love about each child.
